Otis was founded in 1853 by Mr. Elisha Otis, the inventor of the safety elevator, and is 

headquartered in Connecticut, USA. It is currently the world's largest manufacturer, installer, 

and service provider of elevators and escalators, transporting approximately 2.5 billion passengers 

daily and providing maintenance services for over 2.5 million units. Otis elevators can be seen in 

many well-known buildings, busy transportation hubs, and shopping centers around the world,

Currently, Otis has branches or offices in all Chinese provinces, employing approximately 17,000 

people, including more than 10,000 frontline engineers.
