LIST OF STANDARDS IS BEING UPDATED

      Technical Committee on Standardization "Lifts, escalators, passenger conveyors and lifting platforms for disabled persons" TC 209 has elaborated and submitted for approval a draft of updated Lists of standards to the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union "Safety of elevators" (TR TS 011/2011). 

According to the decision of the Commission of the Customs Union on adoption of the technical regulations, lists of standards should be updated at least once a year. 

Recently, new interstate and national standards have been adopted, which constitute the regulatory framework for the new generation of elevators to be included in the List of standards for TR TS 011/2011. 

TC 209 draws attention that in review of the dates for termination of the superseded standards related to GOST R 53780, it is necessary to assess the feasibility of keeping them in the list under conditions similar to GOST R 53780-2010. 

Based on the results of their synthesis, the Technical Committee will elaborate the proposals for introduction amendments in the List of standards for TR TS 011/2011 "Safety of elevators".
