SUPPLIERS COMBINE IN BELGIUM

        Belgian companies LMC nv of Eke and ELVA AG of Eupen recently announced their combination into Elvaparts, based in Eke. The supplier of elevator parts describes itself as “an independent elevator wholesaler in Belgium and beyond.” Its local stock exceeds 2,000 different spare parts. It also offers complete elevator modernization packages, technical support, preliminary study and measurements of modernization projects. Over the past 20 years, the companies have coordinated more than 5,000 modernization projects in Belgium. Previous LMC owner Arne Vandenberghe will withdraw from the organization and associated business processes to further focus on his elevator maintenance/service companies.
