FÉVAL TOWER TO BE BUILT IN RENNES

The new Féval Tower will be located in Rennes, France, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat is among sources to report. The proposed 32,000-m2 project will be made up of four buildings and house the future headquarters of Samsic. There will also be 180 residences, 28 of which will be social housing. The project will include a restaurant with a balcony that shows city views, an atrium housing offices and residential space and private terrace space for each unit. The 26-story tower will use successive corbels to allow it to flare out as it rises. This plan will minimize its footprint without compromising space. The tower will feature multiple gardens and other integrated vegetation in an effort to have low energy-consumption and carbon-footprint levels.
