ESCALATOR COLLAPSES WHILE CARRYING PASSENGERS

Two men narrowly escaped injury when an escalator they were riding collapsed in a shopping mall in Guangxi, China, and was caught on surveillance video, Khaleej Times reports. The men were able to climb up the stairs safely when the escalator malfunctioned and caused the stairs to collapse. Another escalator malfunction at the same mall reportedly caused a child’s arm to get caught four years earlier.
