FIRE ENGULFS TOP FLOORS OF UNFINISHED SKYSCRAPER

A skyscraper in Warsaw, Poland, lit the night sky as a large fire engulfed the top floors, Daily Mirror reports. The brand-new, 420-ft building caught fire just after 11 p.m. on June 8 and remained ablaze until 5 a.m. The Warsaw Hub (ELENET 693) area of the city was reportedly placed on lockdown to protect pedestrians from the debris seen falling from the 25th floor. The unfinished skyscraper had no one inside, and no injuries have been reported. The building is a part of the Warsaw Hub, which includes three buildings that have been under construction since 2016. The burned building was set to be complete in early 2020.
