CONTRACTS SIGNED FOR QATAR HIGH-RISE PROJECTS

Malaysia-based Eversendai Corp. Bhd has been contracted to provide structural steel works for a pair of high-rise building projects in Doha, Qatar, The Edge Markets reports. The contract includes design, engineering, fabrication, supply and installation of structural steel, metal decking and fireproofing for the Albaker Hotel Tower 1 & 2; and shop and fabrication drawings, supply fabrication and shear stud fixing, blasting, primer and delivery of composite beams for the Abraj Al Tahwiliya. Eversendai also is providing services for a museum project in Abu Dhabi. Together, the three contracts are worth MYR196 million (US$47.5 million).
