BROOKLYN DEVELOPER PLANNING LATEST MIXED-USE TOWER

Brookfield Properties, the developer behind the Greenpoint Landing multitower development on the waterfront in Brooklyn, New York, has filed an application to build another mixed-use high rise at 221 West Street in Greenpoint, New York YIMBY reports. Planned on a vacant lot between Freeman and Eagle streets, the 29-story, 336-ft.-tall structure would contain 302 residences and 8,616 sq. ft. of commercial space within its total 287,518 sq. ft. Carlos Cardoso of Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners is the architect. A project timeframe has not been announced.
