LAND SALE PAVES WAY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF DENMARK’S TALLEST

Norcap, developer of Lighthouse, a 44-story, 146-m-tall tower on the harbor in Aarhus, Denmark, that will be the country's tallest once complete in 2021, received approval in February on the sale of the city-owned land on which the building will rise, Mansion Global reports. In addition to more than 200 apartments, the plan includes restaurants, a tourist information center and a kayak club. The design by 3XN features unique, curved balconies boasting ocean views. To take shape next to Lighthouse Phase 1 consisting of eight- and 10-story buildings, the development is scheduled to begin construction this year with Danish firms contractor Aarsleff and design-management company Ramboll onboard.
