BROOKLYN HEIGHTS TOWER AIMS TO COMPLEMENT NEIGHBORS

A 20-story, primarily residential tower at 200 Montague Street in the Borough Hill Skyscraper Historic District of Brooklyn Heights, New York, aims to complement its neighbors with a design by Beyer Blinder Belle that features limestone cladding and stone cornices, New York YIMBY reports. To take the place of a 1960s-era, four-story building, the plan filed by James M. Patterson of Ancora Engineering was set to be reviewed by the Landmark Preservation Commission on March 5. It would include residential amenities and retail on the lower levels, residences on the second to 20th floors and mechanical floors above. A private, outdoor terrace at the top is also on the drawing boards.
