LAST, LARGEST SKYSCRAPER IN NYC’S HUDSON YARDS PROGRESSES

Recent photos show construction has reached ground level on commercial office building 50 Hudson Yards. At 1,011 ft. tall and containing 2.9 million sq. ft., it is the largest skyscraper in the massive Hudson Yards development on New York City’s (NYC) far west side, New York YIMBY reports. The last tower being built in Hudson Yards, it was designed by Foster + Partners and is being developed by Related Cos., Oxford Properties and Mitsui Fudosan. Repetitive floorplates are expected to lend themselves to a rapid rise, with completion anticipated in 2022. BlackRock has signed a lease for 850,000 sq. ft. over 15 floors, and will be among the tenants to enjoy views of Hudson Yards, Midtown and the Hudson River through floor-to-ceiling windows.
