STUDIO GANG-DESIGNED TOWER NEARS TOPPING OUT IN BROOKLYN

With its white, elegantly angled façade now more than a third of the way up toward an ultimate, 57-story height, Studio Gang-designed 11 Hoyt in downtown Brooklyn, New York, is nearing topping out ahead of an anticipated 2020 completion, New York YIMBY reports. The development will contain 480 units within 770,000 sq. ft., and include a low-rise podium with a second-floor, 27,000-sq.-ft. elevated park next door. Along with amenities such as a sun deck, children’s play area and barbecue pods, residents will enjoy views of Brooklyn’s brownstone-lined streets. Though it will not be the tallest building in the neighborhood, the Tishman Speyer-developed tower promises to stand out, thanks to its unique curtain-wall design.
