BUILDING PERMIT ISSUED FOR TALLEST BUILDING IN SERBIA
Serbia’s Ministry of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure has issued a building permit for what will become the country’s tallest building: the 40-story, 168-m-tall, 47,500-m2 Kula Boegrad (Tower Belgrade) in Belgrade, B92 reports. Tower Belgrade is part of the Belgrade Waterfront Project that will include a five-star hotel and a recreation area. The tower will have an observation deck at the top with 360˚ views, a ground-floor restaurant facing the Sava River promenade, and a pedestrian bridge that connects to the Belgrade Waterfront gallery shopping center.
