ELEVATORS FIGURE BIG IN NEARLY COMPLETE BROOKLYN TOWER

High-speed elevators to a private foyer are among amenities for future residents of west-facing units in the nearly complete, 30-story Quay Tower on the Brooklyn Heights waterfront in Brooklyn, New York, New York YIMBY reports. A construction elevator on the 315-ft.-tall, 126-unit development is expected to come down in coming weeks ahead of an anticipated July completion. With a glass and brushed-copper façade, Quay Tower was designed by ODA Architecture and developed by RAL Cos. and Oliver’s Realty Group. Its penthouse recently set a price record for Brooklyn by selling for US$20 million. Besides views of Lower Manhattan, the East River and Brooklyn Bridge, residents will enjoy amenities that include two rooftop lounges.
