FOUNDATION WORK IN FULL SWING FOR UPPER WEST SIDE’S TALLEST
Foundation work for what will be the tallest tower on the Upper West Side of New York City at 775 ft. (approximately 71 stories) is in full swing at 50 West 66th Street, New York YIMBY reports. Designed by Snøhetta and developed by Extell, the structure will consist of two major sections separated by a landscaped terrace at the 16th floor. The lower façade will feature light-colored, textured limestone, while the upper floors will be clad in glass panels. Depending on one's location in the building, views will include Central Park, Billionaire’s Row and the Upper West Side. Completion is anticipated in 2020.
