FIRST GOLD COAST HIGH RISE IN OVER A DECADE BREAKS GROUND
Sunland Group, the Brisbane-based developer behind Q1, Australia's tallest building, has broken ground on a 44-story residential skyscraper in Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast of Australia, The Urban Developer reports. To contain nearly 100 owner-occupied apartments, it is the first high rise to be built on the Gold Coast in more than 10 years. Located on Hedges Avenue, the property will boast amenities including a swimming pool, boardroom, lounge and concierge services. Completion is anticipated in 2022. Sixty percent of the apartments have been sold.
