43-STORY LOWER MANHATTAN TOWER CLOSE TO HALFWAY MARK

The 43-story, 667-ft.-tall 45 Park Place, a residential tower located where the Financial District and Tribeca meet in Lower Manhattan, New York, is close to the halfway mark, New York YIMBY  reports, with topping off anticipated by mid-2019. It is being developed by Soho Properties, with SOMA Architects as the lead architect and Ismael Leyva as executive and residential architect. On the southern side, its glassy façade will shift toward the west to the Hudson River. Construction on a 16,000-sq.-ft. Islamic center designed by Jean Nouvel at 51 Park Place is expected to start once that area stops being used for staging for tower construction.
