CHILD PUSHES ANOTHER DOWN ESCALATOR IN SHOPPING CART

An older child pushed a younger one, believed to be his sibling, down an escalator in a shopping cart in Nyagan, Russia, an incident that was captured on video, RT reported on November 18. Shared on social media, the video prompted questions, including why no adults were supervising the children. The younger child fell to the bottom of the escalator stairs, suffered a gash to his forehead and was knocked unconscious as the older one calmly rode down with no apparent reaction. Police are investigating the mother — who appeared on the scene approximately 5 min. later — for negligence.
